Hello. I am San Shi. You may also call me ThereStone.
I am a practitioner of the Taoist tradition.
The Tao, as we speak of it, is the rhythm of sunrise and sunset. The space between one breath and the next. The moment a seed pushes through the soil. You cannot see it, but it is there—in the wind crossing your fingers, in the scent of earth after rain, in the quiet when you hear your own heartbeat.
It moves like a great river. All things rise and fall within it. For thousands of years, some have sat in mountain stillness, listening for its voice. Others have walked into crowded streets, living out its patterns in daily life. Still others have gathered what they learned and passed it, like a well-wrapped bundle, into the hands of the next generation.
That stream has flowed through time, and now it rests here, under the name Zhengqing Chanzen.
Zhengqing Chanzen is a lamp.
Where the lamp shines, the path is visible. A person upright makes the way clear; the way, honestly shared, reveals what is true. Stand firm as a human being first. An upright heart sees the road ahead without distortion. This is clarity. What is understood must not be kept to oneself. It must be given. Placed gently into the hands of those who need it. This is truth, shared.
These words are the lamp my teacher handed to me. I carry it as I walk. One day, another will carry it from me. The flame keeps. The road stays lit.
Where does this lamp come from?
It traces its flame to the Zhengyi tradition, a branch of the Taoist orthodox lineage. Zhengyi favors steady action over lofty words. Zhengqing Chanzen was established within it by the elders of our school. We are not a grand temple on a famous mountain. A few generations. A few cups of tea. Quietly tending small things: pointing the way for someone who feels lost, untangling a knotted thread, or offering a word that says, I understand.
What you will find here:
Destiny readings. Feng Shui. Body care. Spiritual alignment. Soul transition. Incense offerings. And handmade objects—burners, bracelets, things formed by lacquer, layer upon slow layer. Each one is a footprint. Each step belongs to the path I walk.
When the time is right, you will find your way here.
When the wind rises, we light the lamp. When rain falls, we brew the tea.
